TO 214 COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY CROSS SECTIONAL ANATOMY



Computed Tomography Cross Sectional Anatomy will give students an in-depth knowledge of anatomic structures throughout the human body that are critical to becoming proficient as a Computed Tomography Technologist and an integrated part of the critical care team. Specific Topics: Cranium & Facial Bones, Brain, Spine, Neck, Thorax, Abdomen, Pelvis, Upper and Lower Extremities. Arterial and Venous structures throughout the body will be studied in depth along with blood flow travel times for computed tomography contrast examinations. Prerequisite: Candidates must hold current A.R.R.T. accreditation & certification in either Diagnostic Radiology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or Radiation Therapy.
