LA 242 DNA LAW TRIAL PRACTICES



Pretrial practices, such as discovery and motions in limine as specific for DNA evidence, and rules of evidence are discussed. Students will participate in mock trial exercises, specifically focused on presenting, and challenging, sophisticated DNA analysis to lay juries. Lecture: 3 hours per week. 3 credits 3 Credits Prerequisites: CJ 217, or equivalent, or consent of instructor; LA 241 or consent of Instructor.
