HU 103 HUMAN VALUES, PERSONAL FREEDOM, AND THE ARTS
An exploration of topics and issues from the Ancient Greeks,
Romans, and Middle Ages that have a major influence on
people in the twentieth century. Major ideas examined include:
wisdom, love, duty, courage, justice, freedom, the relationship
of people to each other, their country, and their religion. Lecture:
3 hours per week. 3 Credits
