SX 220 SEMINAR IN SURGERY
This course will review the basic principles and practices taught in the Surgical Technology Program. The course will focus on the objectives covered on the National Certification Exam for Surgical Technologists (CST) using an online learning system, lectures, and practice tests. The purpose of the course is to prepare students to pass the CST exam. The exam is administered as a part of this class and before they graduate. Passing the CST exam is required for employment as a certified surgical technologist. 3 Credits
